My professional background spans across nutrition and health care domains, with exposure to diverse settings such as acute care, critical care, long-term care, and outpatient care. I have over 5 years of experience in the acute care setting and 3 years in the outpatient setting. I offer individualized nutrition therapy, lifestyle medicine, diabetes education, and group programs. I have expertise in motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques and aim to support each person in reaching their health, wellness, while providing patient-centered, evidence-based care. I earned my master’s degree in nutrition from Texas Tech and have a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification.

Angie’s transition to an Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian lifestyle marked a pivotal moment in her personal and professional development, igniting a fervor for dietetics that would guide her academic and career choices. Her academic achievements, culminating in a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences, coupled with her practical experience through a Dietetic Internship, have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of nutrition’s role in optimizing health. Angie’s commitment to her dual passions empowers her to address nutritional concerns with a unique perspective, informed by the rigorous demands of dance and the transformative power of a balanced diet.
